Classes

Beginner instruction is offered for ages 8-Adult. All fencing equipment is provided. $90/person for 6 classes.

For COVID19 Safety, all beginner classes are by appointment. You can take the beginner class solo, ceate your own friend/family pod or jump into a group already formed.  Equipment is assigned to students for the duration of semester. And, is washed/wiped down between students. 

If you create a friend/family pod of 4 or more people, we will discount everyone $10.

Advanced group instruction is offered throughout the week to meet the training needs of students. Schedule as of February 1, 2024  (and subject to change without notice)

Fencers are welcome to join classes that are age/skill appropriate for them. Students may come for older or younger age classes for no additional charge. But are expected to be respectful to all in the group.

We are closed if Lakewood Schools are closed for weather. 

We close for National Holidays. 

Private lessons are available by appointment only.

You do NOT need to purchase your own equipment to learn to fence with us. But, once you've 'caught the bug', you will want your own stuff, especially if you want to compete.

Cyrano's Place has a complete Pro Shop where you can try equipment on before purchasing.

 If we don't have your size in stock, we can get it!

What we carry:

Masks, jackets, gloves, chest guards, plastrons, body and head cords, weapons (both youth and adult) knickers (or fencing pants) and bags to hold it all in.

So, before you try and 'translate' the online fencing equipment store language, make an appointment with us to purchase your fencing gear needs.

We accept Cash, Check or Venmo. (Sorry, no credit cards. We are trying to keep our prices down, so we are accessible for ALL who wish to join us!)
